Who we are
Tagend ("we", "us") is a marketing agency. This policy explains what personal information we collect through tagend.io, how we use it and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email us at [email protected].
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form, we collect your name, email, and anything else you choose to share, such as your phone number, website, type of business, monthly marketing budget and message. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the date and time of your visit. This helps us keep the site secure and working properly.
How we use your information
We use your information to reply to your enquiry and arrange a call, to send you the newsletter you signed up for, to improve our website and services, and to keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Legal basis (for visitors in the UK and EU)
We process your information because you asked us to (for example, by submitting a form or subscribing), because it is in our legitimate interest to respond to enquiries and run our business, or because you gave your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run our business, and they process data on our behalf: our CRM and email platform (used to store enquiries and send emails), our website host (Cloudflare) and our content management system. They may only use your information to provide their services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
Our website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics or marketing tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the length of our relationship and any period required by law. Newsletter subscribers stay on our list until they unsubscribe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or limit how we use it, and to unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in every email. To make a request, email [email protected]. If you are in the UK or EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
